Something amazing happened to me today!

You may not know this, but I'm heading to USA in January next year (combination of work & pleasure). Well, I was asked to extend my trip to take part in some extra training while I was in Boston. I had to change my flights, and now I have two days in LA, which means......

I have been to the one in Florida- "Disney World", I hear "land" is equally awesome.

My dream was always to go to Disneyland, even though I hear Disney World is better. That will be on the radar for a trip with the kids

I went to the California Disneyland as a 4 year old - I have a whole series of pictures there and they make up about 1/3 of all my childhood pictures. I'm excited for you!

:) I'm sure you can imagine that Disneyland is just not an affordable holiday for a struggling Australian family, which is what our family was when I grew up. It was always a dream of mine, and I'm like a kid thinking it will finally come true.

I'm glad you will be experiencing it soon! I was very lucky to have gone since at the time my mom was a live-in maid and we were only in California for less than a year. :)

I have a rec for you if you have any time left on your itinerary. Go see Venus in Fur if you can. It has wonderful dialogue and the lead actress is simply amazing. I can't think of a performance that I've seen to rival it.
