New toys

I have just been given a new iPad for work. I think I am in love!

It's everything I never realised I needed/wanted, and makes all my social networking so much easier. I think typing on it is even quicker. Now, if only I could run adobe photoshop on it, I'd never need a laptop again!

I see the appeal.... But I think I'll soon be joining the throngs of over on Damn You Autocorrect. It's made my day so much easier. Two devices are better for multitasking

I wish I could! I'd be first in line if I could afford it but for now I must settle for my Kindle Fire and laptop. *sighs*

I wasn't sold on them until early this year when colleagues were putting them to terrific use for work presentations etc. I think I might even forgive apple for their anal copyright tendencies for this little gem. It beats the iPhone by a mile!

Straight text typing is great, but entering passwords etc is just a major pain in the ass, especially when they have to have upper and lower case, special characters and numbers. Grrrrrrr

What do you find it does better than a iPhone/Macbook? I reeeeally want one but I have yet to justify it with stuff it can do better than one of those.

It's not that is does more, it just does the basic stuff quicker and simpler. You really can't replace your laptop, especially for the really fun stuff like vidding photoshop etc. if you have a mac, you're probably experiencing the best of both worlds.
