Glee - my hopes for Klaine

Nov 20, 2012 01:36

I'm an angst whore at heart, and there's nothing better than a TV show with huge lashings of UST and the delicate dance of two people finding their way tentatively toward one another. Glee have excelled at this before, and they will again, I'm sure, and I know I'll be there lapping up every moment from my lounge chair.

I love Kurt and Blaine as a ( Read more... )

I hope you're right about things are to go. I must say, the show is at a rather low point right now and while I've been watching, I'm not thrilled lately -- including with the quality of the new talent.

I'm not overly fussed with most of the new ones, and I desperately miss the interactions of those characters I care about most. I hate Kitty, don't care for Jesus, and the others might as well be background actors ATM. There hasn't been reason enough for m to care yet.

It a huge gamble trying to juggle so many new characters with the old. Still yet to see if it pays off

I would be fine with them not ending up together but grown-up and mature, but if Klaine has to be endgame, what you described is the only way I can see it happen. I hope RIB don't throw awa this opportunity.

I can't help myself, too many Disney stories as a kid or something, but I believe in perfect matches, and for me, Klaine is it . That said, with extremely good storytelling, I may be convinced to lean another way.

I just posted this because I'm sick of seeing the opinion that not having them reunited by Xmas is a bad thing. Any reunion can not be rushed, or you haven't addressed the underlying issues. Particularly because those issues are still all there!

Ah Steph this is reminiscent of the QAF early days where you wrote beautiful prose about BJ and their journey together :) I am glad your little fangirl heart is beating strong, hugs Chris

It was broken a few weeks back but it beats strong again. Those boys are gorgeous together.

Sham and I will be coming over in June. :). Get ready for fun!

I agree with everything you said. I think they both need to grow and mature in the ways they need to as individuals. You know I absolutely love them together but I think (especially in season 3) they both lost their identities because it was all Klaine and nothing but Klaine. They didn't exist outside the couple they had become (even if they usually didn't get to act very 'couply').

Rumor has Kurt talking to Rachel about asking some guy out. I wouldn't even mind this so much just because he has never had the experience. Of course, he will try to date and realize that there is only one person who he will ever be able to give his heart to :)

I want Glee to take it slow and gradually get them back where they are supposed to be.

If you were ever in any doubt.... I love you completely!

I'm following the rumour mill closely too. This was a reaction to that, and to the scores of teens who are going to blind RM with hate tweets or stop watching altogether because Kurt and Blaine aren't together again by Christmas. It's too soon for that... Silly kids ;)
