Its at that awkward QAF season 2 stage where its waiting for renewal pitches and decisions before plowing ahead. I think Ryan is trying to pitch a two season concept, so this might be game changing.
What's the word? Are they not sure if they'll order a s5? That would make me personally rather happy. I think if they get another season, Klaine will not reunite until the very end, and I am kinda losing the will to live as it is.
I don't think there is any doubt there will be a season 5, but it's a matter of how many episodes, and if they agree to Ryan's concept. It has lost a lot of viewers this season, so we'll see.
I didn't obsess back in the A Very Potter Musical days, but when they announced the new guy on Glee, I definitely knew who they were talking about. By the time he appeared on set, I'd investigated further and was already a hard core fan.
I know what you mean by range - his voice can be both smooth and gentle for a great Broadway love song or edgy and rock'n'roll for It's Not Right But It's OK. He's very diverse. The best thing about him though is how gratiously he takes praise and credits those around him for his successes. He appears very down to earth and humble.
Yes, to all of the second paragraph :D I cannot believe how gracious and charming and upbeat and lovely and clever and adorable and sexy (did you see the eyeliner pic from Imogene??? Holy smokes) and talented and hot and lovely and did I say lovely he is? He'd be way too short and thin and small and young for me in RL, but boy, would I ever want to lick him up and down. And then, or before have him play one or all of the gazillion instruments he plays and sing all the great songs he does, his and other people's. Never were the words life runier so aptly applied :(
Having said all that, It's not right but it's okay remains one of my favorite performances of his, even though after 4x04 it is more than bittersweet to go back to all the times they touched on Kurt leaving for NYC.
I don't think I've ever asked Ryan for a song. I never know where to start with so many good possibilities.
When I got my first tape deck, it was mono, with the one big speaker on the front. By the time my sister got hers, stereo Ghetto Blasters were everywhere. The first song I every taped from the radio was the brand new INXS track, Original Sin. How's that for showing my age?
Thank you, thank you, thank you for telling me who sang Somewhere only we know. I have a B/J clip that is years old which I just love and was sooooo happy that the song was on the Warblers CD but still didn't know who sang the original. Now I can stop obsessing over who sang the song.
Love Phil Collins and his music. Saw him live in the 90s in Sydney with Genesis. Great show. Saw the movie too years ago. In the Air is another one of my faves.
I watched Glee the other night and Darren sang Don't Stop Me Now which Adam did and he wore a red jacket similar to Adam's in the Diva song. I was going to post on my LJ about this. All roads lead back to Adam.
Have just bought 2 Bruno Mars CDs because I fell in love the Glee versions of his songs and am enjoying both of them. And he wrote a song for Adam too.
I know all of you 'obsession songs' except for Somewhere Only We Know. I've never heard of it. Never Gonna Give you Up? There must be a story attached to this song.

I do wonder where the show will go from here. It seems to be at an uncomfortable crossroad.

The costume was largely suspected to be a nod to Adam, and let's face it, he's the perfect example of a real life male diva :)
I love Bruno Mars, one of my faves on his Doowops & Hooligans album is the little known Somewhere In Brooklyn.

I've been listening to both of Bruno's albums trying to learn the songs. Like I said I know a few of them from Glee.
Did you see the clip of that cute kid, Ky on Ellen singing one of his songs? Just hilarious and sooo cute.
