I have several friends on my list struggling with similar issues, and I'm trying to eat better myself. We should create a comm to keep each other motivated, maybe.
Steph you are amazing and such a focused gal! That is brilliant weight loss but more importantly the whole understanding of your own body. Good luck continuing with the change in lifestyle.
The low-carb approach really can work and it helps to moderate insulin output which is important. This modified approach will probably keep ketosis from developing but will still work and keep the desire to 'kill for carbs' in check. :)

btw, there was an LJ community for people who wanted support with their weight loss efforts but I don't know what happened to it.
