Sense8: Episodes 1x01 - 1x04
Watched the first episode of Sense8 over the weekend, then sped through the next three today.
I've been so excited about this show, and I'm totally hooked on it now. The characters are SO delightful and I love the concept. The genuinely global storytelling and all the parallels and motifs are so awesome, and it's SO QUEER and full of precious cinnamon rolls who are too good for this world, too pure (a meme that originated from The Onion btw, and describes my feelings so accurately :D).
happydork and I have basically spent a lot of time shrieking in delight, particularly at the following:
+ NOMI/AMANITA OMG WHAT CUTIES. I love everything they choose to be including Freema's dodgy American accent, god bless <33333
+ LITO/HERNANDO+(/??)DANIELA did they just get a bunch of fic writers to write this I mean really. Amaaaaaazing. I just. These two prominent happy loving queer relationships being on the same show. It's so much, it's so wonderful, I'm so happy.
+ The Capheus|Sun fight scene was amazeballs, and the build up of the characters interacting with each other and starting to swap skills is so exciting I'm so looking forward to seeing how this develops.
+ omg Naveen Andrews. So nice to see him in this show, and super into him being showing everyone the way with his soft voice and kind eyes. <3333
+ AND I SAID HEY, WHAT'S GOING ON. Kala and Wolfgang singing together and Capheus in the bus and just everythingggg WHAT A GOOD SCENE. WHAT A GOOD SHOW. KEYSMASH KEYSMASH.
TRAGICALLY I do not know when we can watch more it might not be until next week because some loser has to go have a birthday on Thursday and then go away to Vidukon, ugh.
