Reading

On my trip to Florida last week I decided that I didn't want to "exert" my mind anymore than I had to before classes start again, so I purposely made my reading list ridiculously light...as in strictly young adult fantasy , which has always been my weakness. i read his dark materials when i was really young, and didn't read it too well then

reread it the summer before the movie came out, and loveddddd it again. (not really the second book in the trilogy, but the third is phenomenal! the first is also really good too) true what you said about will and lyra.

i was really disappointed in the movie. literally right when it ended, me and another guy in the theater made audible "UGGGGGGH" noises and "that's not how it ends!"

Yeah, I've never been more disappointed in a movie adaptation than The Golden Compass...with the possible exception of Prisoner of Azkaban, but my hopes were too high with that one.
