I'll send you some leaves in the mail if you want!! i finally got stamps. fun stuff. I know sp[ring is beatuiful down there and that should make up for the lack of fall, plus you never have to wear shoes
That is true, I have not yet had to wear closed-toed shoes. Barefoot is fine in the dorms and flipflops work well for most other occasions, though I did wear heeled sandals to dinner with Dave. Send leaves please, there are people from Texas here who don't know what different colored leaves are.
if DC is 100 tomes better stop complaining about leaves!!!!! seriously, I will send the cider and some apple crisp and Deanna will send the leaves and you'll be like "I'm back in NH again!!" I'll send you a coat if you want, just find an air conditioned room and decorate it with the leaves and some ice shavings....
If you send the apple crisp and the cider, I will be the happiest person in the world. All the rooms are air condidtioned here, and I keep my room fairly cool so the jacket thing might not work. Oh, and I don't think I could find ice shavings here. But the NHL season has started and people are freaking out around here. It doesn't seem like hockey season when it is 85 degrees.
Oh, and even if I didn't expect D.C. to be this cool, I also wanted to have a fall season, when I can wear jeans and sneakers.
anything for a friend, and seriously, I will (try to) make the best apple crisp ever, I'm excited now, I hope it's still good when it gets there, but it should be... it's tres triste, the apples at Hetnar's are all bad and almost black, what a waste...
