I laughed. A lot. At parts that probably weren't intended to be funny. Like how she manages to nearly castrate her future daughter's soulmate with a car door in the second scene (because she's soooo clumsy!), when the first person she meets at school is Gaysian Eric (he's totally in love with her), and how a multimillion dollar special effects ( Read more... )

I saw it in the most bizarrely reverent group of moviegoers ever, apparently. I'm guessing they were all 12-year-old girls who were entranced by the smoldering honey ocher eyes in widescreen, because no one laughed! Sloane said a lot of people laughed when she saw it.

I think my expectations were so low that the movie could crawl over them, which it did. The most enjoyable aspect for me was Kristen Stewart, who actually worked to give Bella, well, a personality, however much an uphill battle that is. Anyway, awesome entry! I can't BELIEVE I didn't realize that Jessica was the girl from Camp!
