He lets out a small sigh, the break from books and studying and worrying about books and studying a relief.]

I'm sorry to report that Charles Ryder is currently out of commission and has used all his allotted capacity for thought or conversation or anything of that sort in the last ten days.

[he cover his face and then, imagining Sebastian on the other side, with Aloysius and the Merlot. Hmm...Merlot. He removes his arm from his face, tilting his head slightly so he can see the door. He pushes himself up to a stand, opening the door for Sebastian]

Did you say you have a Merlot for me to sample?

[he tries to hide an affectionate smile and fails in that way he does, so he just pulls Sebastian into the room]

[he closes the door after Sebastian is in the room, and he leans against the door]
