Okay, you had me with the summary because it's simplicity and watching the vid just implies so many things. But I died during the first paragraph because you compare the PASIV to their future, their lives in such a special but yet straight forward way that it hurts.
But on to their merry past: This could seriously be one of my favorite stories on how they met. Because they're young and free and still themselves.
And then right between their friendship and love looms their end.
You captured the mood of the vid perfectly. I have no words for this. Great job!

This is just as devastating as the video. I loved that you wrote about the "original" scenes, like Mal finding Arthur with his guitar and Eames with Phillipa. Wonderfully sad and lovely. ♥

Ah, your literary references. ♥ The mirror-image repetitions here are so striking, the counting up and the counting down, the beginning and the ending, and then the final line, It felt like shattering, building her again. Absolutely haunting and gorgeous.
