Um...I liked the fish? They were cute. I fully expected those little fish swimming around Eleven's hand to bite them off, and then they didn't and I was all disappointed. I am growing to like Eleven as a sort of older brother. Maybe I like him more the less I see of him; this is certainly true for the Ponds. BUT LOL OMG HOW MUCH WAS THIS EPISODE A REGURGITATION OF JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING. It's a crashing Titanic with a Moffat fake-o romance a la Reinette and Amy unhelpfully stuck somewhere else with giant flying aquatic stuff from Planet of the Dead and Beast Below on top of being about 'A Christmas Carol.' It also has Katherine Jenkins in it, and bloody Gambon pulling crayzay faces. And Moffat wrote it. And it was kind of a musical. (Also what is with all the hugging between past and future selves? Wasn't that all Serious Bad News in 'Father's Day'?)
(apparently some people cried. LOL, WHUT)
Also I have just seen the trailer and I am ~unimpressed~ which is hardly surprising, but anyway. Bearded Eleven DO NOT WANT. Naked River DO NOT WANT. 'I wear a Stetson now,' DO NOT WANT.
I should probably just stop watching and leave people to enjoy it without me being boringly rude about it. I promise to complain quietly in future?
