Beautiful! They were both perfectly in-character (IMHO), and I could picture this scene playing out exactly as you wrote it, if only XF had aired on HBO ;) Very well-written...and for some reason, Scully's "Come on, Mulder" resounded in my head, and I had to read it a couple more times before I could go on. It was so ... so ... Scully.
