I'm not sure what to do about it now in Scorched, since it would be weirder for her to suddenly have this knowledge she didn't have before ICly, but I'll keep it in mind for other purposes.
... lol are you serious. That's weird. To me, it's just that on a scale of When Things Were Invented in the real world, guns and cannons and locomotive trains came well before televisions of any kind, so it kind of screws with head when Naruto lacks all of those things but has... TV's and video games apparently. (I've never read any Kishimoto interviews so I wouldn't have known about that one.) Especially when the technology behind the first few is much simpler. It's like computers being invented before the printing press.
