Appearance:
Vincent stands at a decent 6’4”. He has an athletic physique thanks to years of soccer. Vincent has black short spiky hair. His brown eyes are framed with rectangle glasses. Vincent is very dependant on his glasses, if he didn’t have them on he would bump into walls, and mistake people for inanimate objects. He enjoys wearing nice expensive clothing. In the winter you might see him wearing a plain black turtle neck and a pair of black slacks, and in the spring you might see him in designer jeans and a simple colored polo.
Vincent isn’t a fan of sun. He is mostly pale, and due to the weather in Ireland, he never got much sun whenever he had a game. Whenever the weather was mildly sunny in Ireland, Vincent tried his best to stay inside.
Personality:
At first glance you might label Vincent as a snobby little rich kid with no care at all in the world. However, this is not the case for the Irish man. Vincent is brash, sarcastic, straightforward, intellectual and honest.
Ever since Vincent entered middle school he has developed a cynical attitude towards others, having been brushed the wrong way far too many times for his liking. Since his family is rich and has high connections, the people he met used that to their advantage (such as scoring tickets to a rock concert, etc.) after realizing why so many people befriended him and used him, he became very distrusting. Because of this, Vincent over-analyzes people.
Vincent also despises people who label others. Because of his parents, the kids at his school have labeled him into the “rich” crowd. However, Vincent despises said crowd. He thinks that people should earn their money rather then have it handed to them. He respects those who work hard for five or six days. Vincent despises those who spend their money carelessly over stupid things that end up breaking within a month. Vincent also hates racial slurs and superiority over different races.
Vincent isn’t much of a morning person; he despises waking up earlier and would rather sleep until eleven. Because of his dislike for waking up early, Vincent never pays attention in his morning classes. One should never attempt to wake Vincent up, and if you manage to do so then prepare to have a cup of tea ready for him. Having grown up so close to England, Vincent fancies tea over coffee (he finds the drink foul and bitter). Having an AB blood type doesn't exactly help Vincent's cause as he's mostly crabby in the mornings.
Vincent is very emotional; it’s fairly obvious to tell when he’s upset (even though he tries to hide it) he’ll most likely head off somewhere and bury himself in a book. When he’s angry he’ll confront you and most likely tell you what it is he doesn’t like. And when he’s happy you’ll normally see a small smirk on his face.
When it comes to love and romance, Vincent is, as the phrase states, very blind and oblivious. Vincent is also a natural flirt. He often times flirts without even knowing it.
History:
Vincent was born in Ireland. He has three older brothers, a twin sister (who is about five minutes younger then he is) and a younger sister. Both of his parents work in high, respectable positions in the Ireland government. Because of this Vincent got whatever he wanted.
However unlike his siblings, Vincent didn’t want much. He probably wanted the one thing you couldn’t buy with money. Since his parents were at work most of the time during his childhood Vincent never got the love or admiration that his brothers received when they were growing up. And because he’s roughly in the middle his parents accidentally ignored him. Because of this seclusion, Vincent felt awkward going to his parents with his problems. He learned to settle them by himself.
During his years as an Elementary student he made fast friends with everybody in his class. He later figured out (with the help of the eldest Callaghan, Sean) that his classmates were only using him because of his generosity, and his parents’ wealth.
Vincent excelled in his middle and high school years. He chose better friends who liked him for him and not for his money. He also dated frequently. As he matured into a handsome man (or as his mother called it “obtaining his father’s genes”) he attracted both women and men, and was added to the infamous Callaghan fan club.
Deciding to pursue the family’s favored sport, Vincent picked up soccer as a high school activity. He quickly found out that the talent came easier, and somewhat natural to him then playing the flute (which was his mothers wish).
During his last year of high school, Vincent obtained a crush on his best friend Zane Fitz Gerald. The feelings were mutual and one unfortunate day Vincent’s father walked in on them making out (and attempting to take things further) and stopped them. Zane left hurriedly (afraid that Vincent’s father would inform his parents). In a fit of anger and adrenaline Vincent’s father pushed him down two flights of stairs for tainting their family name.
Even though Vincent had a full ride to Dublin University, he spent the later year in a community college as he allowed his wounds to heal. Wanting to get away from his father, he transferred over to Evergrove University to start his sophomore year on a clean slate.
