I'm having a hard time finding music. I can't figure out if I'm just old and everything sucks to me now or if the algorithm is algorthim-ing too hard? not hard enough? I don't want a mix of songs I already have on a playlist...or three..

It's just all so borrrrrringIf y'all tell me to check out youtube I might kms because I AM too old for that

Ahhh the ongoing struggle of trying to find new stuff to listen to… I found Spotify’s AI deejay moderately amusing for 5 minutes but it. Ever recommended me anything new and just kept pulling up the same songs I already have on playlists.
I’ll throw Drab Majesty, Ladytron, Alvvays, and Beach House your way as potential new listens though.

I like Beach House! I'll check out the others. Alvvays pops up sometimes but I haven't listened yet....

and that's exactly what the daily mixes were too until I started listening to bizarre lofi and Japanese toilet music and now I at least get 2 or 3 random ones out of the six

I TRIED to like pink pantheress. an all-woman production I try to support but...I do have her on my nightcore playlist and I sweat a few of her songs. I just want her to be better. She's not doing enough!!!!
