I'm one of those latecomers who only read about how Johnny was supposed to be gay in the movie after I had already watched it :D So I've been waiting for a fic based off it.

I really liked it-short but sweet :D You give a nice continuation of what could have occurred after the movie ended(cause Johnny did seem really attached to the kid)

And Yep gays aren't allowed to adopt in japan(in fact I think only married couples where the mother is a stay-at-home mom are allowed to adopt-which is one of the reasons so few kids are adopted in Japan)

Same for me, but I re-watched it after knowing^^. Aniway, might Johnny be gay or not, he and Toppo are particularly shippable.

There were all atatached to the kid, but Johnny had a very special relationship with him. He even gave him his name so^^

That's what I guessed, from the fact that a Japanese friend when I was an exchange student in the UK told be "Here, people are really open about being gay or not, but, you know, in Japan, there are no gays". Thankfully,we were with a Japanese boy who shrugged and answered that it wasn't that they weren't any gays, they just didn't say it. I thought that if a person who was actually very open about homosexuality told me that there was no gay in Japan, adoption by homosexuals couple was unlikely. Sorry I'm starting to rant ^^
