i love the background story in the beginning, i love the settings, i love the melancholy feel.... and somehow it kinda reminds me of supernatural lol.

looking forward to the other chapters! I really enjoyed it; love the idea, love the atmosphere of the hotel and bar and the way that everyone kind of seems disheartened or empty... so something's bound to change that soon! The area reminds me of service stations on motorways, and they always seem like different worlds to me xD

actually the inspiration for this chapter and places were very various.
First, the scenes in the town all happen during the night, so the atmosphere is very different from what it will be during the day. I remember going to a motorway station at 3am not so long ago, and i was used to these places being always crowded and full of light, but at 3am, it was only me, my mom, the vendor and flickering lights.
The inspiration for the hotel comes from Kinugawa Onsen, which is some kind of deserted town. But in the fic, the interior proves otherwise. (ps : if you scroll down too much, some images are NSFW, not what I would call porn, but not something you'd like to see while at school/work)
As for the bar, the inspiration is taken from a live bar a friend took me to a few weeks ago, (though I exagerated it a lot ^^)

Thank you for replying in such detail! It's very interesting! And I believe it's best to write about scenes you've seen or got a vibe from, not to make something up from scratch (though of course, it can be done).

I prefer saying for the picture as I don't know where people are when they check picture (I wouldn't like to be seen looking at some of these pics at college/at work), plus I don't know the age of my readers.
