that was the aftermath of my illustrious going away party, which my parents threw for me back in the middle of august. it just took me a while to get the pictures up. let's just say i arrived at 7pm and i don't remember anything after 9:30pm, including how i busted up my face ;) oh, and i've NEVER not remembered a night, or at least bits and pieces...needless to say, it was one hell of a party!

Well if I could remember what caused the boo-boos I'd be able to answer with more certainty, but unfortunately I can only give you a somewhat confident, "No, nothing sinister." ;) How are things down in the Ole South?

That is so sad to hear about your aunt. A lot of the victims of Katrina are finding refuge in Tallahassee right now. In fact the hotels are completely booked with them. With this said, I just found out some very disparaging news on Thursday. Due to the FSU vs. Miami game on Monday, all of the refugees will are being asked to vacate the hotels in order to honor the prestanding reservations of the football fans. Even more so, if the refugees do not vacate the hotels when stated, they will be arrested on the spot. Nice, huh? I'm starting to wonder if Tallahassee couldn't be a worse town for me, since I am neither political nor competitive (not to mention definitely not a Republican). The saving grace of this town is my house and my school, both of which I love ( ... )
