I have recently spoken with a few people about my thoughts on this film, even though I haven't seen it just yet. I really hate the fact that it's focused on all the suffering Jesus went through, and not the miracles he performed and the love that he spread with him. But to further explain my side, I just found this ARTICLE. Please do give it a read

It does show the good he did. This is was just the last 12 hours of his life. Just what happened. It's in the bible already. Perhaps you should watch it. I loved it. Extremely moving. Such a different experience. Although the images are painful, it's to remember the good of him.
Being in that theatre with almost Hundred people watching a movie like that, has never been experienced before, I assure you. As the screen went black, it was silent. Hundred and more people, dead silent. Not a cough, sneeze, or whisper for about seven seconds. You walk out of the theatre as a different person.
