When Kerry was nominated as democratic candidate for president I wasn’t too happy. I liked John Edwards, who was eventually picked up by Kerry for VP because a lot of people like me liked him. I think if it comes down to foreign policy then Bush will win. I think Kerry's won the debates but in terms of convincing america he'll do better in terms of terrorism and foreign policy he was weak.

That's the problem. The foreign policy that Bush has enacted is what has turned the world against us. As much as we Americans like to think that it doesn't matter what the rest of the world thinks of us, we are wrong. The fact that we go all over the world imposing ourselves on other governments without regard for the people of those countries has bread so much hatred. On of the reasons I like Clinton so much was that the world got to see a different side to America, one that could be reasoned with and one that was at least a little willing to respect you a little. The world view of America at that time was so much better than today.
