Spearmint is also known as Catmint, and it is related to catnip.

Ahhh..i didn't think they were the same thing (spearmint and catmint), as i've grown both and they were fairly different plants (both mints, though). I figured they were similar, anyways--what got me most was that it was the non catnip crazy cat that went nuts on it! His brother loves catnip, and didn't even pay any attention to the mints. Oh well, it was cute.

Hey, have you ever made a hat with earflaps? Do you knit them separately and then sew them on, or just knit them in with the rest of the hat?

The way i've done it before is to knit the hat, and the "pick up" stitches where you want the flaps, and knit from there. I think actually sewing them on would make it kinda bulky.

I was led here by your neat icon from the cat rating community.
Anyways, I think you seem pretty neat and I'm going to add you.
Add me back?
