i'm watching oprah right now, as i do many weekday afternoons, and there is this woman on here who had a TWO HUNDRED POUND TUMOR REMOVED. so i'm thinking 2 things

Maybe she thought she was a host body for an alien embryo, and the best thing to do would be to let that egg work it's course.

Susan, do you remember in Mrs. Gibson's AP Biology talking about the tumors that got random strands of DNA stuck in them so they grew like hair and teeth and nails? I think that would gross me out more than just a ginormous tumor. I hate bodily disorders. I'm so glad I chose not to be a doctor.

yes, yes sadly i do remember learning that. and next i remember myself asking "so when they get it removed can you carry the body parts around in a jar? kinda like a twin?"

*pinches sinuses* normally i wouldnt bring up such a quote, but let's be honest, i had some ridiculous ones back in my time... lol. i don't mind laughing at myself with such a one as that.

Yes, my Oprah friend, I saw it too! I was shocked and couldn't believe that the tumor was so large. I'm just glad she got rid of it! -Jana
