The history of Valentines day isnt nearly as romantic as I'd hoped. Amongst the origins for it are the slaughter of 2000 jews by christian mobs, and festivals devoted to Zeus and Hera. Not exactly the cupids and hearts the most romantic day in the year is famous for. Valentines day is supposed to be a day of celebrating being with someone you care
