Depository: An Inconsistent Archiving Project

Nov 24, 2020 22:41

I've assembled the links to most of the stories I've posted, with the exception of a few drabbles you can find under the appropriate tag. Once upon a time, I only posted Smallville/DCU fiction here, but I've added another subgrouping below for things that didn't fit the original disclaimer.

* * *

Fiction of decent length, >1000 words

Stray. Smallville, Clex. PG-13. ~16k words. Written for clexmas. Miscellany.
Summary: Clark is getting past his summer in Metropolis, but trouble is capable of finding him anywhere, in any guise. From the prompt: Clark finds a fur-covered meteor rock that turns him into a wolf (or other furry animal).

>

For Your Eyes Only. Smallville. Clex. PG-13. 1271 words.
Summary: X-ray vision would be a cooler power, if its use didn't mean Clark was invading everyone's privacy. Lex was different, of course.

Hollow Comfort. Smallville, clexy gen. G. 1216 words
Summary: Future!fic (of a sort.) All Hallow's Eve is believed to be the night in which the barriers between 'our world' and the world of the dead are thinnest. Lex can't restrict himself to just watching Clark in the aftermath of a battle. Note: I suggest reading the header information as well before continuing.

Getting it Right (the Second Time). Smallville, Clex, NC-17ish, 1063 words
Prompt: Lex rescues a chained-up Clark from Zod from tasabian

Reclamation. Smallville, Clex, PG-13, 10641 words. Written for clexmas. Miscellany
Summary: Even an alternate universe can't keep Lex Luthor out of Smallville. His destiny will lead him to the mutant Kal. Playing brain to Kal's brawn is just the beginning, as Morgan Edge's machinations bring them together... and then attempt to tear them apart.

Me Tarzan, You Lex. Smallville, Clex, R/NSFW, 2416 words. Written for the sv_kink meme.
Summary:Lex is getting married; third time's the charm. Clark's trying to be okay with it, but that would be a lot easier if people would stop asking if he's okay with it. Trying only gets you so far, though.

The Stuff of Legends. Smallville, Clex, PG-13, 7225 words. Pinch-hit for clexmas.
Summary: When Clark is forced to do without his powers for a period of time, his double-life as Superman comes to a temporary stop. Interestingly, neither he nor Metropolis are left defenseless.

Status Quo. Smallville, Clex, PG-13, 1559 words. Extra clexmas story.
Summary: Clark invites Lex to the movies, but life in Smallville... well, it's Smallville. Certain things are to be expected. Others, feared.

Summary: The present is based upon events of the past, the people we know and have met. When those events are changed, so too are we.

Monsters: Legends, Myths, and Surreality Smallville, Clex, PG, 2763 words. Written for clexmas
Summary: The problem with being well-versed in popular culture and bad movies was that Lex couldn't ignore the validity of theories as presented in cheesy dialogue and lengthy exposition.

Plain to See Smallville, Clex, NC-17, 2973 words. Written for the tentacle-fest
Summary: Clark and Lex are growing closer and it's only a matter of time before secrets are revealed. Lex expects his own to be first, but Clark has a way of surprising him.

Forth And Back Smallville, preClex, G, 928 words. Written for Clexmas bingo 2011 prompt: car/truck/vehicular

Summary: All is fair in love, war, and parenthood. Lex is just being a good father and keeping an eye out for his son.

After Smallville, pre-Clex, G, 1566 words. Written for the Clexmas bingo 2011 prompt: Ghosts/Hauntings
Summary:There's a ghost in Smallville, but even death can't stop Destiny. A tale of the afterlife (and the beginning of life after).
Warning: Major character death, but not an unhappy fic. (and no one dies who isn't dead before the start of the story)

Presents Not Under the Tree Smallville, Clex, NC-17, 4359 words. Written for the clexmas Holiday Gift Exchange for faramirhughes
Summary: Clark and Lex celebrate Christmas. And then celebrate some more. From the request: I love fluffy porny stuff. I like cute and funny stories that lead to them getting down and dirty.

Give a Little Whistle Smallville, pre-Clex, g, 1301 words. Written for the clexmas Remix Challenge inspired by a story by nicnac918
Summary: When Lex first comes to Smallville, it's not the meteor mutants or his father that keeps him up at night. It's the crickets, but not for the reasons you'd think.

Life as a Novel in Progress Smallville, Clex, pg-13, ~26,000 words. Written for the smallvillebbang.
Summary: Clark needs a place to stay now that he's ready to leave the dorms of Met U. Lois apparently thinks her best friend Lex needs a live-in caretaker. Cohabitation with a stranger is difficult enough when Clark isn't falling in love with him, or at least he thinks that'd be theoretically true. Lex is guarded, his past troubled, and if Clark wants a chance with the enigmatic writer, Clark is going to have to take a chance on him.

They can weather friendship with Lois, the neighbor's surplus of odd-tasting cookies, a potential stalker, and any amount of embarrassment over laundry, but those are all the 'normal' problems, and Clark and Lex are anything but normal. (check post for warnings)

Bram's Lullaby
Smallville, Clex, R, ~6,000 words. Written for fruitbat00 for clexmas's Not Another Plastic Xmas.
Summary: Lex is two for two on wives who wanted him dead. His best friend is missing. His life is one long lesson on the adage about being careful what you wish for, because you just might get it.

Comment!fic, varying length, generally 100-1000 words
The assortment here ranges from the cracky to the strange. It's mostly Clex, and the links will take you either to the post where I've collected a series of comment fic (like Entrapment) or to the original thread. Check header information for each one.

Also note: I tend to encourage others to commit comment!fic, so some of what you will find under the links will be written by others. If you follow a thread, a lot of times the fic-bits will go together. Sometimes, they will not.

Also also: A lot of the comment!fics occur in the post for drabbles and other fics. I encourage you to take a look at the original posts where this occurs.

Last notes
I mentioned before, but if you read through the comment!fics, check out the original posts. A lot of times, what came before was just plain fun, if not better or longer (or shorter. :D)

If it is here and posted, it has a big old "Complete" stamped on it in my head. Sequels are not an impossibility, but I won't talk about them much until they're either done or in beta. I do not purposely set out to write multi-part things, and if I do, all parts (with few exceptions) will remain locked away in secret until the entire thing is ready to share. This is my personal preference, the source of which is something I learned as a writer: if I start posting WiPs, those projects will most likely stay WiPs forever.

*

Dreamer's Epilogue
As a general rule, I do not read WiPs, unless the story itself is complete and being posted in staggered parts. It has much to do with my attention span and a bit to do with my preferences.

Feel free to friend me. I like people (most people, most days. >D), though it's unlikely I'll friend you back unless we've exchanged words. Please be warned, however, that befriending me is an invitation to having your posts spammed by the infrequent bit of comment!fic (check out the comment!fic section above). I don't do it to everyone all the time, but the possibility always exists, wherever I am.

And the last word is: zombies. Or Disclaimer.

In this case, the disclaimer for all fic currently posted or expected to be posted in the future.

Disclaimer: Superman, complete with shiny costume, is the brainchild of Siegel and Schuster, and belongs to DC and Warner, and probably some other people. Smallville goes to the CW and AlMiles (and, also, probably to some other people). No profit is made. No vigilantes were hurt (much) in the making of this fic.

Banners for Stray and For Your Eyes Only were created by ctbn60.

Edit: made this a sticky note, but realized as I was posting February 2016 that my header post date had come and gone without my realizing it.
