Dystonia News - Warning Medical Stuff Ahead

Well, I've seen the doctor. He does think what's been going on with the ribs is dystonia. Instead of the dystonia being just the rhombus muscles like we thought (it is there, just not as severe as thought), it seems the dystonia has moved further down the spine and is presenting in the intercostal muscles of my ribs (the muscles between the ribs).

I am so sorry you have to deal with this kind of pain - the illness AND the treatment. I know it can wear you down, just living with it. And I totally empathise with 'wanting to work'. Is there something mentally stimulating that you'd wanted to do but never had the free time for, in the past? Perhaps you can divert yourself with that now and your enforced free time can be a gift rather than a burden.
