i'm calling it chilopodaphobia - fear of centipedes.

(chilopoda is their class... i got the idea from arachnophobia...der).

they're literally EVIL!

um, so we had a centipede-like creature in our house a few weeks ago, and i was literally useless the second i was made aware of its presence ... i jumped up on a chair (after blocking off my door with a towel) and whined until kim & rachel killed it. it was fast and huge and disgusting. i don't know why those things think they have the right to coexist with me.

haha that's not nearly as bad as what i did. i saw it FOUR times and everytime i screamed and ran out of the room. they make me shake all over. also, i was on the phone with will the third time, laying in my bed, it crawled down the window right next to my head. i cried for nearly 20 minutes! i also didn't sleep last night because i sat in my room staring at the ceilings and walls, shaking.

we need to be the founders of a 12 step program to get over this fear! haha!

dude centipedes are scary. i'd be in on that phobia and also cockphobia, the fear of cockroaches. !! How's your life? Seems like you're making lots of decisions. About transferring? Good luck. If you need any advice, let me know. I don't know if I'd be any help though.

i concur on the cockphobia! will has cockroaches in his room in long island. i pretend really hard not to see them. i really can't escape from nasty bugs. they're still not as bad as the 'pedes though, because those things live for FIVE years!

my life is interesting right now. i have no idea what i'm doing about transferring... if you have any advice it'd be greatly appreciatd! at this point, i'm kind of hoping someone will just say, "melissa, go here." and i'll nod and obey. i'm not really prepared to this whole "you're-in-change-of-your-life-don't-fuck-it-up" thing.
