Last November a new member joined A-Larger-World with ill intent. He or she was using the site as a base from which to send off malware. My server, Blue Host, was not amused and shut the place down. One of the tekkies there took pity on me and did a couple of fixes, but sent me a list I have no clue how to handle full of back doors I would have

OC's: My first OC came around in my twelfth year of existence. Around that same time, I created an entire fictional town and various other characters to populate said town. I've never gotten around to making those people or that place real; life happened, the universe imploded, I disintergrated, etc. But they still exist on paper, culled from memories of the stuff I had written down years ago when I made some attempts at being a novelist...maybe they might finally see the light of day...

I just checked ALW a few days ago again... I think I'd checked a couple times and kept finding it down, but then never got around to saying anything. It's sad to see it go, though I feel I have no right to say so, having been gone so long. Sometimes I really, really, really miss the old online days - in some ways, my circle of friends feels so much smaller and looser, now.

Oh, well. Smoked salmon spread doesn't sound half as good as the salmon and tuna sushi I had last night. *grin*
