My birthday was this weekend. All things considered I don't actually feel very different in spite of being one year closer to thirty. Apparently this is supposed to be a big deal or at least very life-altering (sometimes in the negative sense, like mid-life crises), but I'm not married, don't have children, and I'm quite happy.
