You're welcome - thanks for reading and commenting. I feel kind of badly that I barely ever have time to do LJ stuff anymore. A friend of mine suggested that I try Facebook, and I've been doing that. It takes less time to catch up with what friends are doing because of their "What are you doing right now?" feature, and photos are right on the front page, you don't have to look for them. And you can save feet of rainforest by playing silly games where you send flowers and fish to friends! (my, how alliterative that was!)
Friends with the pope - wow, that's cool. I've never known anyone who could claim that relationship. I assume this was the pope previous to the current one? JP2 was pope for so long, when I hear or read the words "The Pope" I still think of him right away.
How long did you work in the ESB, and for what company? I think it was only about 2 weeks that I worked for Fuji there. I always liked menial jobs like filing, it left my mind free to wander a lot, and sometimes I'd get good ideas.

I also worked in the Empire State Building a long time ago, sharing an office with a woman who was friends with the pope.
