These characters are so real, so truly 'alive' that you expect to see Dom and Billy walking down the street toward you, their heads bent to each other as they spoke of every day life. That was lovely. I seem to be reading this completely out of order. I always mean to go back and get it right but for some reason I keep reading out of order. Just in case you're interested, it's still a great read, even out of order. I love the way you write Billy.
