Freya had a barfy stomach virus. Barely sick for her first year, and she's had like three different viruses in the past month. It has passed now. But in the meantime, SURPRISE, my husband has diabetes!

that is a hard blow. It is manageable, and even reversible, with diet and exercise, so make him go to all those education classes they offer for the newly-diagnosed. But I'm so sorry.

I'm trying to get him in with the same dietician I'm seeing. This is all the more reason to revamp in the Kishel kitchen.

Is it in his family? Maybe he can reverse it through diet?

It does run on both sides of his family and there is a lot he can do with diet to protect his health, but my understanding is that he will always be diabetic.

we have had a barfy stomach virus make the rounds here this week. First Max, then me, now Chris and I am sure Elise will get it too. It is no fun. I hope she feels better soon.

Sucks about the diabetes, but they have come a long way in being able to manage it effectively.
