Ah, life's simply pleasures!
Wow, twenty years. How are you feeling about that?
Great progress on the packing. When we move, even though I'm downsizing, I'm not getting rid of my bowls..I'll just buy more anyway.
So, you like working with the elderly?

Oh, don't ever get rid of crocks! :) We used to have some that we found in our local dump ( back when we were able to pick it... which is rather yucky, in hide sight ) it was the early seventies and people were done with the old stuff. I regret getting rid of them when my decorating style changed. My mother collected Salmon Falls pottery and when she passed away I had tons and tons of the things, which I distributed out to appreciative friends and family. I wish I had the room to store things. In the winter I would do a country decor and my shabby chic during the warmer months. I love the two styles equally. My interior decorator friend suggested that I use the two styles in different rooms, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

All kinds, my favorite is white stoneware. But, all in all, I see a bowl I like, I just buy it.
My family laughs at me, I collect, books, bags and bowls. For some reason my collecting any china with roses on them has escaped their vision. :D

I'm enjoying reading your journal entries!

thats so funny, we used to go with my dad to the dump. one year we got a beautiful claw and ball dining room table. my sister still has it. it was also in the 70s, in jersey when we were down the shore.
