since i left my job in nc, 3 of my residents have died. sad for me. another is in the hospital, shes also dying. i know they are better off

Another new adventure, i just have a few things and then the day care can start. hope things are good with you? i do seriously miss nc, something about those mountains gets in your blood.

I know how you feel. I started out in the early seventies being a nurses aide in nursing homes in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and then in the early eighties I got my nursing degree. I picked geriatric nursing because I enjoyed working with the elderly. I understand how you can get attached and how awful it feels to let them go. :( This is a very hard time of year for the older ones as you well know..expect more sadness...but you'll be so busy soon maybe you'll be able not to think about it to much.

Oh no..not unpacking...

This apartment has paneling too, but it is painted white. Some people went hog wild across the country paneling every wall at one time..I don't even want to think what they were covering up!

Is it warming up down there yet?

not warm...but it is ohio after all, and probably won't warm up till may.
the paneling here is awful, everything is brown. but its a roof over my head for now. this is not a forever house.

When we went through Cleveland the first time, I was thoroughly frightened..when we travel now we go through that city in the morning before anyone wakes up. I hope you live somewhere a bit more rural.

Yeah, it's like our digs here, just a place to come to at first. If I thought I had to stay in this apartment I'd be very discouraged.

we are in a small city, in the middle of amish country. i will stay until lily is done school. guess my moving will be endless.
