Oh my ~ so sad! We get so much comfort from our pets ~ they love us 'unconditionally' and it is some of the greatest of times! Condolences to your hubby on this loss.

Oh, i can understand him being a mess. Bella is my best friend, too, and I'll be devastated when she leaves this world. Poor, poor husband. I'm so sorry - pets are such a comfort and joy that it hurts SO badly when they go. *hugs*

it is crazy how attached you can become, my dh has severe clinical depression, so louie is his buddy.
