went to cc again with charles. two chest tubes are out, so one still in. nothing yet on the move to nursing home. jeff still has an infection in his lung. his immune system is not working well from being on dialysis. it took me a week to finally have his drs call me. i had to file a complaint to get that to happen. so hopefully they'll keep

hope you feel better soon. its hard to get on the phone with jeff, he doesn't answer all of the time. sometimes he just feels too crappy. mon, wed and fri are dialysis days. he is really tired on those days.

I want to call him, but don't know if is still possible. I miss him terribly, as we were leaning on each other a lot in this medical sh*tstorm we've both been in for too long.

I just called, and we talked for a bit. He did say that while he loves and misses those he is close to, he just doesn't have anything to give, "not even two or three words... it's too hard..." He asked that he not get calls until after he is moved to "the rehab place" which I think must be the nursing home you've spoken of, Sue. Please, please let me know when he has moved and what the contact info will be there.

i sure will let you know when he leaves, but he can't go until the chest tube is out. its still putting quite a bit and i don't know a thing about them. i'm going with charles on thursday evening. its very hard to see my dear bubby this way.
i'll let you know when he moves and is up to talking.
and yes, its a nursing home, maybe its easier for him to say rehab. ugggg. its only been months, but feels like years.
