Teenagers

Nov 03, 2006 18:06

I have decided to have a rant, I am sick to death with the way that society as a whole seems to treat teenagers. I know there are some very bad ones out there, but they are in the minority. However all teenagers get tarred with the same brush ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry that you have not been able to have the party as planned. We have a saying here "the many getting blamed for the sins of the few", and this seems to be the case as you're describing it. Here we don't have that sort of hassles for teens, and though you do get the few that are real troublemakers, I think that applies to all age groups and not just teens.

Best wishes to your daughter on her b'day!! :)

Thank you, I will pass the message on to her. There are problems in this country with some teens, but most of it is because they have no where to go. Places they do try and meet they get moved of from, and a lot of adults are afraid when ever they see a group, that they will cause trouble, but the majority of times they are just there having fun.

That's just terrible! I've never heard of any silly laws like that around here! What a pain.

Talk about punishing the many for the bad behaviour of a few! Damn!

I hope your party in your garden goes very well!

Happy birthday to your daughter! =>}

It's not actually law, but if the clubs do not obey, the Police will be slow to respnd to trouble and insurance companies will not pay out for damage

That is just horrible! It makes me very angry that they'd be so arbitrary when so many young people today are just wonderful and responsible. Grrrr! =<{

It sounds like they are throwing the baby out with the bathwater. They need customer loyalty to stay in business. But they are alienating present customers as well as future customers.

Hope your daughter has a wonderful birthday (and you don't collapse from the work!) ::offers daughter birthday cake::

I agree, we will not be holding my sons 21st at any place near here.

Thanks for the cake I have passed it on.

I so agree with you - it's annoying to hear kids being vilified en mass. Poor little souls - how they're supposed to grow up into responsible human beings who don't twitch is beyond me. ::ends gripe:: :~)
