oh man, wouldn't it be cool to attend the Twin Peaks Festival this year? i mean, there's gonna be gambling, location tours, and a cherry pie lunch at the end!

also, before i fell asleep last night, i checked out some of that Madonna live show thing on MTV, with hopes of seeing Les Rythmes Digitales, who now tours with her and allegedly worked on

i got to see the first one last summer. they projected it onto the side of a van at this park up here in philly. needless to say, it was pretty awesome. i wish they'd reissue that sucker on dvd -- the sequel sucks compared to the original.

speaking of breakdancing / graff movies of the 80s, plexifilm just put out a 2 dvd set of STYLE WARS.

the soundtracks to Breakin and Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo are classics. i want to own them, but haven't found copies yet. amigarad has them both, i believe, and they are perfect party albums. seeing Breakin' on the side of a van must have been an amazing time.

i read a bunch about the release of Style Wars a week or so ago and promptly added it to my amazon wishlist thing, so that i will remember to buy it as soon as i come across some cash money.

oh no doubt -- the music is amazing. but as far as the films go, i think the first is better than the second.

also, wild style is available on DVD. i also recommend that soundtrack.
