check out this awesome contest that flip flop flyin is putting on. they've pixelated famous album covers, and the goal is to figure them out. i think the winner gets an iPod. either way, it's a good test of rock knowledge! i think this one is my favorite:

i just need 2 more! i don't know the one you posted, even though i probably should because it looks familiar, or the one with the crab on it, which also looks familiar, and i KNOW but i don't know. and what the hell is the strawberry one? or the blue one with like, a gray cat on it or something? i'd like to win something but mostly it's killing me not knowing what those things are.

i ended up getting 64. the strawberry one and the yellow one that is obviously rap are driving me nuts, but i gave up. i'd like to know what the six i didn't get are.

mattie mark informed me of the kraftwerk and the one with the crab on it which i remember fondly as probably having "firestarter" on it, which cracked me up in high school.

well all 60/70 you needed to enter.
once i got stuck my technique was to think of any "britpop" band that i didnt know anything about an dlook up covers. thus i got supergrass, and a few others. that shits the jam. the ipod is mine.
