it went really well. thanks for the recommendation in Kyoto. i really enjoyed Cafe Independants and Sanjo-Keihan as well. we're back in Akita and it's snowed every day since Sunday! did you guys have a nice weekend away?

Glad you liked it.
We had a nice weekend with my former host family, which was both fun and stressful. They did lots of nice (and expensive) things for us, and all I had to give them was a bag of christmas colored Reese's peanut butter cups. I felt like a toad.

6 minute haircuts...a questionable call. that was easily the most casual coffee ever, though. i look forward to spending huge amounts of time in Mista Donatsu this winter.

happy new year to you too! how are things down there? we are headed to Saitama tomorrow for the big tournament! and Joel and Adam are leaving on Saturday. i'm so sad to see them go!
