We, Japanese!

I usually get a little frustrated when someone I know, usually a coworker, starts a sentence with "We Japanese...," because I know that it will be followed by some horrible blanket statement that at least 50percent of the population would disagree wholeheartedly with. We Americans say that a young Japanese woman's heart is like an apple in the autumn. Both are delicious when covered with caramel.
