I took a five minute nap last evening...

An Olmec? shaman in a fedora ripped out my intestinal tract and splayed it on the ground.  He had a curved knife which he used to slice along the guts for about 10 inches.  A inky black goo seeped out which was almost translucent and had real depth. That's why I like books like Childhood's End, and The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch -- because they feature these E.T.'s that operate in ways that are almost impossible for us to comprehend. They do make one question the possible definitions of "intelligent lifeform."

Did you read about the puffball planet? The yahoo version of the story definitely has a better title: Astronomers find distant, fluffy planet

I learned something today, too. Did you know the "Fall Debut" schedule on TV was created because of a deal between car companies and the networks. Sept. is when the car companies come out with their next line, and so the new shows help people know about them.
