stuck outside of mobil with the memphis blues again

truck broke down an hour ago on the 5 about 200 miles from portland.  leaking fuel.  i was trying to pass a semi and lost all acceleration and had to pull in front of the semi to get off the road.  fucking fun times.  now i am in a microtel hotel which is a nice little inexpensive place. i am looking forward to seeing what is in store for tomorrow.

well, i sat next to some stinky pig farmers at the mechanic's office the next morning for about 3 hours only to find out the part had to come from portland and couldn't get there until the next morning. so we stayed another night in the hotel and this trip became very expensive. but overall things could have been much worse. there was even a tasty japanese/korean/chinese place in the town with a overly-friendly owner who told us that we were beautiful and that our "second child" would be beautiful. i think she meant that our combined genes would make a beautiful child.
