And people say my inventions are not useful

Celeb-Way Calling.

Look out, Bloom. That's all I'm saying.

Though I think the cravat was more becoming, as far as your inventions go. That was one of yours, wasn't it? I never believed the Beau Brummel story.

Trust you, cara, to prefer an aesthetically pleasing invention over an imminently practical one that (admittedly) has had an unforgivable effect on civil society, such as it is. You would surely prefer a world in which everyone was elegantly dressed and no one ever felt compelled to answer their phone in the middle of restaurant. I share your view, though unfortunately, my accountant does not.

You and your consort will be happy to note that I have located the spell you desire. It will, I must warn you, require us to travel to another world. A world of only good and evil, black and white, no gray. No music, no art, just champions roaming the countryside, fighting for justice.

As you can imagine, the place is overrun with untapped market potential. Maybe I can send all the cell phones THERE?

I always choose aesthetics over practicality, or else I would have remained with the Master instead of roaming the world with Angelus, no? It makes my life interesting.

You're a prince among men. I'll tell him at once; he had the completely misguided impression you would just pretend to try and never deliver results.

It does sound like a place for cell phones. And something out of a Boys' Own Adventure. Undoubtedly the two of you will love it. Tell me the champions run around in as little as possible, so I'll at least have something to oggle while we're...

...wait a minute. Kara! I can't leave Kara alone right now. If I do, she'll end up getting her body hijacked by another ghost or working for Wolfram and Hart by the time I come back. Damn.

Just how long will that journey take?

I don't know, personally? I find it a little tiresome. But then, I'm only a part-time champion. I'm sure Angelus will like it -- among other things? He can sunbathe. The light in that dimension doesn't harm vampires. Though maybe we shouldn't tell him -- it might be fun to see him freak out.

And no worries about time. It's one of those Narnia effects. We shouldn't be gone more than ten minutes.

We can arrange it when Kara's at school -- when does she go to school, anyway?
