i'm sorry to hear about your kitten. losing a helpless baby animal like that is always hard and people get attatched to them so easily. but getting rid of your dog is making you lose two pets in a short time span. dogs don't think. they have instincts. clearly your dog didn't know any better. while we'd like to think so, dogs don't have high thoughts. he wasn't ready to be left alone with your kitten and that's how he reacted. beating him afterwards didn't do any good either. they had no idea why you were hitting them. even when you showed them your cat, they can't put two and two together. the only way you could have connected it for them was to discipline them immediately after you had taken your kitten from their mouths. your dogs made a mistake, but they didn't do it to hurt you or on purpose. again, i'm really sorry for your loss.
he sure as hell knew better. i've had cats before with the exact same dogs. they know they are punished when they be mean to my cats/kittens. they knew exactly what they were doing. they did it out of pure jealousy. they knew they had done something bad..and thhey should have it engraved into their minds that they should not get near another cat ever again now.

Sorry to hear about the kitten....but dogs and cats ARE nemesis'. And when your dog starts growling and showing his teeth...you should prolly stop hitting it cause it'll prolly go for ur throat in the next 5 mins. Prolly best ur gettin rid of that one...
yesh..i dunno though. i wish you could see a picture of them. it breaks me apart thinking about giving him away, but then again, he did turn on me. and that wasn't right at all..
hey, i'm really happy now because there's this cat that came to my house. he's a siamese lookin one. i named him muffin. isn't that the sweestest name EVER? lol, anyways..yesh, gay and girly..but thaz me. umm..soo...yeah, maybe he'll stay and not die or anything terrible like that :-( like trouble did. we burried him..well..i didn't. but it got done. umm..maybe i should give up on animals.
