i've been wanting to buy this massive fishtank for forever and a day... and my boyfriend said i can get it as long as i don't spill on the wood floors ;)

so we should go fish shopping together. i've found the ones i want at pet depot... they're like enormous and scary and i'm fascinated.

Anyway, I wouldn't recommend buying fish at Meijer's they are traumatized from birth...you can't imagine what they're put through in places like that...their life expectancy is a few weeks I believe.

Try a pet shop, they are usually better for buying fish that last. I had two fish, Malakie, and Sayaka, they lived for over 2 years.
*One day I noticed Sayaka had a funny spot over her eye...it turned into a tumor and she got cancer and died...Malakie and Sayaka were soulmates...lovers...tankmates...Malakie was so torn up over loosing Sayaka that he stopped eating and died of a broken heart...I will never forget my little "love fish."
