Do you know anything about G. Galina? I can't seem to find hardly anything about her, and I would like to add her to my Russian women poets. Would you consider it a good quality poem and is the English as good as the Russian?

unfortunately I don't know nothing about her. this translation seems very just to me. but in English you can't "translate" the ryme, the meter of the Russian poetry...nothing to do...:-)

It is beautiful indeed; I just didn't want to repeat what other 20 people had already said before me.

Of course you can; you don't even need to ask. However, asking an unnecessarily polite question is very nice of you and I appreciate it.
