For the first time since I started attending an Orthodox church I attended a Liturgy in a church other than St. Stephen's. It was an Antiochian church as opposed to an O.C.A.. I felt like such a rebel. I went to meet some LJ friends at St. Philip's in Souderton, Pa.

it is....all around the side walls are life size icons on the walls (I hesitate to call them icons since they're not mounted but painted right on the walls) of saints and stories of the Bible. At first it may seem a little distracting especially if you're not used to icons but it didn't take long to feel at home.

Yes, it was nice to meet you and David, Amber and the illusive Chris. The next time I hope to have more time to spend under a little less hectic conditions. Maybe I'll get down to All Saints soon.

by the way.....you looked so happy holding that baby ;~)

Glad you took that opportunity! I've only been to liturgy in two churches, my own St. Thomas the Apostle in Springfield, and I once took a trip with some friends from my parish to visit the Romanian church St. Thomas in St. Louis. Verry different, but also very good in it's own way. :)
