Apparently LJ is undergoing a "Denial of Service"
attack. The last entry and this one were sent by

to other journals, edit, or delete anything.
Well....maybe that's a good thing.
I'm a paid
member too...not that it's so expensive but still,
others who are not paid seem to be getting through.
So, Sunday I went to a confirmation party for one of
the kids I taught in Sunday school. It was good to see
her and her mom who was my boss when I was one of the
youth leaders. She was interested to know where I am
in regards to Orthodoxy and was I coming back to my
old church and did I want her to pray for me. I never
turn down offers of prayers. Before the party I went
to the service. I did feel comfortable there and I
realized how much I miss some of the people there. At
the party I did n;t want to get into any debates but
the Pastor and the Youth Director were asking about
some of the differences and it being a confirmation
celebration I talked about "Laying on of Hands" and
apostolic succession and how it could be traced to the
apostles. Well, the Pastor simply smiled and said,
"See, that means nothing to me." And the youth
director said. "I believe the Holy Spirit indwells in
all believers." So I dropped the subject that they had
brought up, a little disappointed. Still it was good
to see everyone, especially the kids.
