Now, I'm a serial co-habitator (3 people in 5 years or so), so maybe I'm not the best source, but I say go for it! I "officially" moved in to Ben's apartment after 6 months (although I had been spending basically all of my time there after about 3), and it definitely didn't feel too soon or anything. There are lots of reasons to do it.

Have the 2 of you talked much about it?

We have. Ryan lived with his previous lady for a while before living alone. He's been alone for a good two years or so, and in those two years, I've slept over more times than I've slept at home. He likes his alone-time and I think he fears that if I don't have my own place to sometimes go to that he'll never have a minute to himself. And I understand completely (after living with people since senior year of college, most of the time all I wanted was alone time so no one would yell at me for something I did or didn't do). And also, let's be honest, that Lindsey Charles is lovable, but she's sometimes a handful. I get that

I found that being able to go off to separate rooms does wonders. Of course, studios don't provide that option...
The "2 small apartments in 1 building" plan sounds like a good one, too. My bro and his gf live in the same building (that's how they met, aww), and I know they both appreciate being able to have their own spaces.

Yeah, I definitely would need a smallish 2-bedroom if we lived together, and those are easier to find for good prices than finding a good studio or 1-bedroom for good prices (they just don't exist here!), and that's another pro on the pro/con list.
